University of Nebraska–Lincoln seeks a Director for the Center for Grassland Studies (0.40 FTE). The role oversees programs, staff, and the Grassland Systems major, coordinating teaching with unit leaders and advising students.

It includes outreach, grant development, and coordinating events and communications with stakeholders. The successful candidate will advance grassland research, foster collaborations across departments, and position CGS as a leader in education and workforce development

Qualifications

• Must currently hold a full-time associate professor or professor position within IANR at UNL.
• Demonstrated programming (research, teaching, and/or Extension) aligned with grassland systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee CGS programs and supervise CGS staff and operations.
• Coordinate teaching for the Grassland Systems major and engage stakeholders.
• Pursue grants, partnerships, and external funding to support grassland research and education.
