Position Summary:

The CAPE Manager will oversee daily operations, contribute to ASA’s economic strategies, and collaborate with leadership to influence policy and data analysis related to anesthesia economics.

Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Manage daily operations and strategic priorities of CAPE.
  2. Coordinate with leadership to set goals and work plans.
  3. Assess and communicate federal regulations affecting ASA economic strategies.
  4. Develop policy objectives and explore data sources for projects.
  5. Collaborate across ASA divisions and promote CAPE initiatives.
  6. Lead ASA committees and foster stakeholder engagement.
  7. Support ASA responses to policy and research requests.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields; Master’s preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in payment policy, government relations, or economic modeling.
  • Understanding of federal and state healthcare policies; anesthesia payment experience is a plus.
  • Project management skills and health policy knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal, data analysis, and communication skills.
Benefits & Compensation:

Competitive salary range: $92,711 - $115,889 annually, with comprehensive health, dental, vision, 401K match, and other wellness benefits. ASA values pay equity and transparency.
