Job summary

LMACCC is seeking a Full-Time Center Float Teacher in Boston, MA to support infants, toddlers, and preschoolers in a warm, learning-focused environment.

You will float between classrooms, assist Infant/Toddler Supervisors, and help create a safe, engaging space that supports children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development while building strong relationships with families and staff.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
• Experience working with children in child care, daycare, or preschool settings.
• Ability to work indoors and outdoors, lift at least 35 lbs, participate in physical activities, and maintain supervision of children at all times.

Responsibilities

• Gain valuable hands-on experience floating between infant and toddler classrooms
• Assist the Infant/Toddler Supervisors as needed
• Work an 8-hour schedule between 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM (must be available to open and close)
• Help create a warm, welcoming, and safe environment that supports children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development
• Build positive, meaningful relationships with children, parents, and fellow educators

Education

High School Diploma or GED
