Job summary

YMCA of Greater Houston is looking for a dedicated individual to perform a variety of tasks aimed at keeping their facilities clean and orderly. This full-time role requires the employee to work independently while handling the maintenance of facility systems, including pool operations and coordination with outside vendors.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in building systems operations, basic computer skills, and a valid Texas Driver's License. Flexibility for occasional travel within the Greater Houston area and response to emergencies is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of commercial experience in operations of building systems, including swimming pools.
• Clear driving record and valid Texas Driver's License.
• Ability to lift and move items over 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors facility mechanical plant and reports malfunctions.
• Provides support to YMCA technicians during preventive maintenance.
• Performs routine maintenance of pool and spas, making chemical adjustments.
