Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree preferred; associate degree accepted with 1 year in Juvenile Justice or Human Services.
• Five years' experience may substitute for degree if other requirements are met.
• Experience working with diverse youth.
• Valid driver's license in state of employment with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist with behavior modification efforts.
• Develop programs for retention and positive reinforcement of behaviors and monitor for behavior/discipline concerns.
• Meet with students to ensure successful matriculation through the program.
• Provide support to staff in resolving negative behavior of students.
• Monitor and report center safety and center-wide issues to appropriate managers.
• Serve as primary contact for off-center individuals and urgent matters requiring investigation or advice.
• Supervise Center staff during evening and weekend hours and ensure accountability.
• Ensure staff compliance with Center SOPs and corporate policies.
• Approve reasonable suspicion drug tests when needed per SOPs and policy handbook.
• Maintain student accountability sheets and report to Records Department.
