Center Director

Head Start is seeking a creative, organized individual to lead a preschool teaching team and oversee operations of a multi-classroom center.

Responsibilities include:

• Hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating center staff
• Ensuring compliance with licensing requirements and Head Start Program Performance Standards
• Facilitating communication and teamwork at the center
• Collaborating with the Head Start management team, program specialists, parents, and community partners
• Scheduling staff, volunteers, and bus routes
• Supervising students and volunteers

This position has school breaks and summers off.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or a related field
• Two years of teaching experience
• Two years of supervisory experience

Pay Range Guide:
