Bright Horizons Family Solutions, LLC. in the Des Moines area is seeking a Center Director to lead an early childhood center, guiding program quality and operations at MercyOne.

You will supervise staff, support enrollment, and uphold licensing, health, and safety standards to ensure exceptional care. Ideal candidates hold an associate or higher degree in ECE or related field, with 4+ years in leadership within child care and experience in both teaching and administration.

Qualifications

• Pass required state and company background checks and meet education and experience requirements.
• At least four years of leadership experience in quality child care settings.
• Experience in both teaching (infant, toddler, or preschool) and administration of a center.
• Strong understanding of center quality, health, safety and licensing standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead hiring and create a motivating, inclusive work environment.
• Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and ensure program quality standards.
• Manage enrollment, marketing, billing, and accounts payable, while ensuring budget compliance.
• Build relationships and communicate with families, clients, staff, and licensing.
• Fulfill mandated reporter requirements and report suspected child abuse or neglect as required.
