Job summary

Magical Beginnings Learning Centers in Norwell, MA seeks a Center Director to oversee all operations, ensure MA EEC licensing readiness, and lead a growing educational team. The role focuses on compliance, staff development, and delivering a high-quality early learning program.

The Center Director will manage staffing during ramp-up, coordinate with families, drive enrollment, and implement a multicultural curriculum that supports children’s growth and social development.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts EEC Director II certification (required).
• Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related degree with relevant experience.
• 2-4 years of leadership experience in daycare/preschool/early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all center operations and ensure MA EEC licensing compliance.
• Maintain staff and child records and ensure monthly fire drills are completed.
• Schedule staff within payroll budgets while meeting licensure and quality standards.
• Supervise, coach, and support teaching staff to build a cohesive team as the center opens.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, and classroom ratios during ramp-up of a new center.
• Implement a developmental, multicultural curriculum that supports skill progression and social development.
• Document child growth and observations in Teacher Strategies Gold.
• Conduct monthly staff meetings and parent meetings; partner with families to drive enrollment.
