Job summary

Learning Care Group seeks a dedicated Director to lead a school, promote growth and ensure a high-quality learning environment for children and families. You will work with staff to implement curriculum, meet licensing standards, and maintain strong parent communication.

The role emphasizes supervision, training, and performance management to support continuous improvement and solid operations within the school. A strong background in early childhood education is required or preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Willingness to attain state mandated Director requirements.
• 1-2 years supervisory/management experience of at least six non-exempt associates; experience in early childhood education strongly preferred.
• Must meet state requirements for education and additional center/school requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Make a difference every day by leading the school operations.
• Manages School staff by planning work schedules, evaluating staff performance, and developing performance improvement plans; coaches, communicates and interprets standards with teachers.
• Be accountable for the operation of the school, ensuring compliance with company and state licensing standards.
• Provide an educational, caring and safe environment for children and parents.
• Foster imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new things daily.
• Promote the positive image of the company and position it as a provider of choice in educational programs for the communities we serve.
• Recruit, select and retain quality staff.
• Help achieve profitability for the company.
