Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or related field preferred.
• Minimum associate degree in early childhood education with 5+ years in leadership role.
• Eight+ years of progressive childcare/early education leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Center/Program Quality: Exhibits knowledge of developmentally-sound programs and improves center performance.
• Health and Safety: Maintains safe, clean indoor and outdoor learning environments.
• Leadership: Guides and motivates staff to achieve center and agency goals.
• Management: Plans and uses time to achieve meaningful results with organization.
• Decision Making and Problem Solving: Identifies problems and selects timely, resourceful solutions.
• Communication: Communicates effectively with staff, children, and parents.
• Interactions: Builds positive rapport with parents, staff, and children.
• Financial Management: Ensures timely and accurate financial reports including staff hours, wages, and billing.
