Job summary

CSL Vifor is seeking a full-time Custodian in Homestead, FL to maintain a clean and safe collection center environment. You will perform routine cleaning of break rooms, donor waiting areas, restrooms, and common spaces, while adhering to health, safety, and environmental policies.

Responsibilities include minor maintenance tasks, waste handling, recycling, and ensuring supplies are stocked. Overtime and PPE use are required as needed, with possible bilingual duties depending on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum three months custodian experience preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and/or written instructions.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with interruptions.
• Must wear Personal Protective Equipment where required.

Responsibilities

• Clean tables, chairs, cabinets, counters and appliances in break room and donor waiting area.
• Vacuum carpets, dust furniture and remove trash.
• Clean windows and doors daily.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (bulbs, ceiling tiles, painting, plumbing, carpentry).
• Monitor grounds and parking lots; pick up litter as required.
• Assist in recycling and repackaging shipping materials.
• Inspect and clean restrooms; replace paper and soap supplies; perform minor custodial tasks.
• Receive supplies from vendors and move to storage areas.
• Maintain a clean work environment and ensure adequate operating supplies; follow HSE/OSHA policies; promote safety.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, donor and center information.
• May be cross-trained in other areas; bilingual skills may be required.
