Job summary

Kids of the Kingdom in San Marcos, Texas seeks a dedicated professional to support classroom and center operations. You will help create a safe, nurturing classroom, build relationships with children, and support teachers with daily needs.

The role includes ensuring compliance with Texas licensing, maintaining records, onboarding staff, and collaborating with the Director to keep operations smooth and welcoming for families.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, or related field or current CDA credential.
• Minimum 2 years in licensed childcare or early childhood setting.
• Familiarity with Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards and Rising Star.
• Knowledge of child development, supervision, safety, and age-appropriate practice.
• Strong communication, organization, leadership and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, nurturing, engaging classroom environment.
• Build positive relationships with children and support development.
• Provide age-appropriate learning experiences and routines.
• Assist with staff onboarding, records, and daily needs.
• Support center operations, transitions, and coverage.
• Maintain accuracy of rosters, records, and documentation.
• Help prepare for inspections and center activities.
• Ensure compliance with Texas standards and quality expectations.
• Communicate with staff and Director; support teamwork.
