The City of Gulfport is seeking a Center Coordinator for the Leisure Services Department. You will oversee programs, maintenance, and records for municipal recreation facilities and adjacent parks, and schedule personnel and events.
Responsibilities include setting up tables and chairs, performing janitorial duties, maintaining inventories and reports, and ensuring facilities are clean and safe. Applicants must be reliable and able to work in a team.
The Center Coordinator oversees the programs, maintenance, and records of a municipal recreation facility and any adjacent park facilities. This person will schedule personnel and events at the facilities, setting up tables and chairs, and performing regular janitorial duties to ensure the cleanliness of the facility. This position is classified as a non-essential personnel classification for Emergency Response purposes. This means that, during an emergency, the position is not considered immediately necessary for emergency response or critical continuity operations.

High School graduate or equivalent is required. Must possess first aid and CPR basic certifications within six months of employment.
Must possess a valid Mississippi Driver’s License
