Job summary

BrightPath Kids is seeking a Center Cook to prepare healthy meals for children and support classroom activities in a bustling early learning environment. You will focus on nutrition, food safety, and keeping the kitchen organized to ensure smooth daily operations.

The role offers a daytime schedule (7:00 AM–3:00 PM) with no evenings or weekends, and opportunities to engage with children in the classroom. Prior CACFP experience and ServSafe certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of food preparation experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler certification preferred.
• CACFP experience preferred.
• Ability to work within regular operating hours.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and snacks.
• Maintain nutrition and food safety for children.
• Keep kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly.
• Assist in classroom activities and interact with children when possible.
