BrightPath Kids in Edison Park, IL is seeking a Center Cook to prepare healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and snacks while ensuring nutrition and food safety. You will keep the kitchen clean and organized and may assist in the classroom to support teachers and foster a warm learning environment.

The role values candidates with food preparation experience, state childcare eligibility, and CACFP/ServSafe preferences. This is a full-time or part-time opportunity at BrightPath’s center.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years of food preparation experience preferred.
• ServSafe Food Manager certification preferred.
• CACFP experience preferred.
• Must meet state criteria for child care employment.

Responsabilités

• Prepare healthy meals for breakfast, lunch and snacks for children.
• Maintain nutrition and food safety standards in daily kitchen operations.
• Keep the kitchen clean, organized and functioning smoothly.
• Support teachers in the classroom by engaging with children when appropriate.
