Ampersand Therapy is hiring a Center-Based Special Education Teacher in Longmont, CO for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time role supports students with individualized instruction, develops and implements IEPs, and collaborates with school teams to promote student success.

Qualifications

• Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license with Special Education endorsement.
• Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills.
• School-based experience preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to student needs
• Provide specialized instruction and individualized support
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and families
• Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies for diverse learning needs
• Write progress reports and maintain compliant documentation
• Help create inclusive, structured, and supportive learning environments
