Job summary

A leading behavioral services provider in Salem is seeking a passionate Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician. In this role, you'll implement behavior intervention plans for children with autism, providing essential support to improve their communication and daily living skills. The ideal candidate is compassionate, patient, and able to work in a dynamic team environment. Comprehensive training will be provided, and candidates must lift up to 50 pounds. Qualifications

• 18+ years of age required.
• Ability to obtain CPR, First Aid Certification, and Tuberculosis test.
• Must pass a pre-employment background check.
• Ability to move in various positions (sit, squat, bend, etc.).
• Must obtain Registered Behavior Technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Work one-on-one with children implementing behavior intervention plans.
• Use evidence-based techniques to teach communication and social skills.
• Assist children in daily living skills while reducing interfering behaviors.
