Job summary

Yellow Bus ABA in New York is seeking an ABA Therapist / Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy to children with ASD under supervision. The role offers Monday–Friday afternoon hours (3:00 PM–7:00 PM) with flexible scheduling and opportunities for certification support.

You will collect data, implement treatment plans, and collaborate with BCBA/LBA while receiving training. Compensation is $22.00–$30.00 per hour, with tuition assistance and growth paths in the field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent as required.
• Willingness to obtain RBT certification with support from Yellow Bus ABA.
• Experience with children or individuals with special needs preferred.
• Entry-level candidates encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills and ability to follow plans.
• Basic computer and data documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with ASD in person.
• Implement treatment plans and behavior strategies as designed by supervisor.
• Collect and document data on client progress and behaviors.
• Support development of communication, social, adaptive, and play skills.
• Collaborate with supervisors and fellow Technicians for consistency.
• Build rapport with clients and families while maintaining professionalism.
• Follow clinical, ethical, and safety guidelines.
• Attend trainings, team meetings, and supervision sessions.
