Job summary

Family of Kidz is seeking a Center Based Behavior Technician in Islandia, NY. This full-time role supports ABA therapy under supervision, with data collection and adherence to behavior plans in a center setting.

You will work Mon-Fri 8:30am-3:30pm, earn $21–$24.75 per hour, and participate in a comprehensive benefits package. RBT credential within 90 days is required, and experience with children and confidentiality is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months ABA experience with children or adolescents.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must maintain confidentiality.
• Enrollment or completion of relevant degree is a plus.
• RBT credential within 90 days of employment.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with BCBA Supervisors to implement ABA procedures.
• Record behavior and skill data during sessions.
• Obtain and maintain RBT credential within 90 days.
• Use electronic data collection and graphing tools.
• Follow Behavior Support Plans and ensure safety.
