Job summary

CenterWell Senior Primary Care in Surprise, AZ seeks a Clinic Administrator to lead the administrative and clinical operations of a multi-physician center. You will direct on-site teams, manage budgets, and collaborate with physicians and executives to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

The role requires 5+ years of leadership, primary care and Medicare familiarity, and EMR/HIM proficiency. The position offers 40 hours weekly with a pay range of $71,100–$97,800 and eligibility for a bonus plan,

Qualifications

  • On-site work at assigned Center(s).
  • 5+ years of operational leadership in a multi-physician office or clinical group, including front-of-house management and clinical operations, with direct coaching experience.
  • Primary Care experience with full-risk VBC and familiarity with state and federal healthcare regulations.
  • Experience with EMR/HIM systems and knowledge of multiple software tools.
  • Ability to partner with physicians, office staff, hospital executives, medical groups, IPA's, community organizations, and health plan staff.
  • Screening for TB as part of role responsibilities; adherence to flu vaccine policy.
  • CPR certification; Florida associates require ACHA Level II Background clearance.

Job description

Become a part of our caring community. The Manager, Clinic/Center Administration plans and directs the work of professional and support personnel who provide outpatient care to patients in a clinical setting. The Center Administration works within specific guidelines and procedures. You will apply advanced technical knowledge to solve moderately complex problems. You will receive assignments in the form of goals and determine the approach, resources, schedules, and goals. You will work at the Peoria Clinic.

CenterWell Senior Primary Care office located at 14749 W Mountain View Blvd, Ste 138, Surprise AZ 85374.

Clinic Administrator Role Overview
  • Plan and direct the work of professional and support personnel who provide outpatient care to patients in a clinical setting
  • Work within prescribed guidelines and procedures
  • Collaborate with management and top professionals/specialists in selection of methods, techniques and approach
  • Help lead implementation for staffing plans and procedures for the facility and work with clinicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Perform escalated or more complex similar work, and manage a group of typically support and technical associates; coordinates and provide daily oversight to associates
  • Ensure consistency in execution across team
  • Hold team members accountable for following established policies.
Required Qualifications

  • You will work on-site at assigned Center(s).
  • You will have 5+ years of operational leadership experience within a multi-physician office or clinical group. This experience includes front of house management and clinical operations. Additionally, you will have direct leadership experience and coach teams.
  • You will have Primary Care experience, full-risk VBC experience of state and federal healthcare regulations.
  • You will have Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMRs) or Health Information Management (HIMs) systems and knowledge of multiple software tools.
  • You will have skills to allow you to partner with different people, both internally and externally. This range of people includes physicians, office staff, hospital executives, medical groups, IPA's, community organizations, and other health plan staff.
  • You will be patient facing and run the Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. If selected for this role, we will require you to screen for TB.
  • Humana will require you to adhere to its flu vaccine policy.
  • You will have current CPR certification. Associates working in the State of Florida will need ACHA Level II Background clearance.
Ideal Candidate
  • You will have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; or, in lieu of a bachelor's degree, 5+ years of Healthcare Administration/Leadership experience
  • You will have Basic knowledge of Population Health Strategy
  • You will have Familiarity with Medicare
  • You will have Experience managing a budget of $500,000+

Pay Range

$71,100 - $97,800 per year. This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
