Job summary

The Therapeutic Innovation Center (THINC) Administrator at Baylor College of Medicine serves as the administrative leader and senior management advisor to the Center Chair. This role drives strategic planning, financial management, and administrative infrastructure across research, commercialization, and education, coordinating with faculty, staff, and trainees and engaging external partners.

Onsite position in Houston, TX, with a performance-based bonus; the role oversees budgeting, HR, space

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and five years of management experience.
• Experience with strategic planning and financial oversight.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Directs strategic business plans and financial oversight for the Center.
• Oversees day-to-day operations and ensures policy compliance.
• Leads HR, workforce planning, and faculty recruitment support.
• Manages budgeting, revenue, and expense analyses for the Center.
• Oversees educational program administration across UME, GME, CME and other programs.
• Guides research administration, grants, and contracts management.
