Qualifications

• Six months of grounds keeping or landscaping experience required.
• Experience with lawn and garden equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follows all safety rules and regulations; reports safety concerns to supervisor.
• Maintains cemetery appearance; installs/maintains landscaping, spreads pesticide/herbicide as directed.
• Pressure wash vehicles and equipment as instructed.
• Keeps shop area safe and clean.
• Cleans mausoleums and statues.
• Assists with interment/entombment; digs and sets graves; opens/closes graves, niches, crypts; places markers.
• Purchases supplies within established procedures.
• Maintains records with supervisor; ensures accuracy and safeguards.
• Assists clients with locating gravesites.
