Job summary

NorthStar Memorial Group in Florida is seeking a Cemetery Caretaker at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens. The role encompasses grounds keeping, interments, and maintenance to ensure a respectful environment for families.

Responsibilities include mowing, edging, landscaping, cleaning facilities, and assisting with loads in/around caskets where needed. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma are required, with 6+ months in grounds maintenance preferred.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of experience in grounds keeping and/or maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass and maintains lawn and surrounding areas.
• Lays sod and edges with a stick edger.
• Moves flowers to chapel and graveside; clears debris and maintains drives.
• Cleans ponds and fountains; hand digs/trenching.
• Facilities cleaning and minor repairs; loads/unloads caskets.
• Vehicle and golf cart washing/cleaning.
