Job summary

NorthStar Memorial Group seeks a Cemetery Caretaker at Royal Palm Memorial Gardens to maintain cemetery grounds, mausoleum areas, and funeral home facilities. You will perform interments and related duties, ensuring a respectful and secure environment for families and services.

Qualifications

• Grounds keeping experience is required or preferred.
• At least 6+ months experience in grounds keeping and/or maintenance.
• A valid driver’s license is required.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass.
• Maintains lawn and trims around trees, walkways, and memorial markers
• Lays sod
• Moves flowers to and from the chapel and graveside.
• Blows leaves and grass
• Edgest with stick edger
• Clears debris and maintains drives and walkways in a safe condition.
• Cleans ponds and fountains
• Hand digs/trenching
• Facilities Cleaning: maintains overall appearance and cleanliness of funeral homes and mausoleum facilities; performs minor repairs and painting; assists in loading/unloading caskets; vehicle/golf cart washing/cleaning
