Job summary

Archdiocese of San Antonio is seeking a full-time Groundskeeper to maintain cemetery grounds, assist with funeral service setup, and install memorials under supervision. This role involves outdoor work and coordinating with cemetery staff.

You will operate maintenance tools and heavy equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and handle routine tasks such as mowing, pruning, trash removal, and loading funeral service trailers. Adherence to safety and confidentiality policies is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as a Backhoe is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setup and tear down for services, including outdoor tents and equipment.
• Assist office staff with locating gravesites or issues with graves.
• Complete work orders and perform routine maintenance of grounds.
