Job summary

Everstory Partners in Fort Wayne, IN seeks a Cemetery Groundskeeper to maintain grounds, ensure safety, and provide excellent service to visitors and families. You will perform landscape maintenance, operate equipment safely, and support funeral services with care and precision.

Responsibilities include weed-whacking, mowing, equipment maintenance, installing vaults or memorials as needed, snow removal when applicable, and other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.

Qualifications

• High School equivalency required.
• 2+ years experience in maintenance or related field.
• Ability to operate maintenance equipment and machinery.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• This position requires availability to work some holidays, evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform landscape maintenance duties such as weed-whacking, lawn mowing, etc.
• Maintain equipment.
• All functions related to funeral services.
• Operate machinery appropriately in a safe manner.
• Installing cemetery vaults or memorials as needed.
• Installing headstones or memorials as needed.
• Handling the day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Handling snow removal (if applicable).
• Performing other duties as assigned by the Grounds Superintendent.
