Job summary

Dignity Memorial in Clearwater, FL is seeking an on-site Cemetery Maintenance Associate to support interments, memorial installations, and grounds upkeep. You will operate hand tools and machinery, respond to service requests, and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• High School degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of six months experience operating standard equipment.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Participates in openings and closings for interments and the installation of memorials and markers; performs maintenance on grounds and facilities.
• Performs openings and closings for burials, entombments and inurnments.
• Sets, installs, and assembles foundations, memorials, and markers; installs outer burial containers.
• Handles work orders from client families related to grave and marker maintenance; responds to service requests.
• Maintains a clean and orderly work area; follows safety rules and universal precautions.
• Completes required training courses (Dignity University) and adheres to Dignity Memorial standards.
• Follows safety and security issues and maintains equipment.
