Job summary

Chapel Hill Funeral Home, Memorial Park & Crematory in San Antonio, TX is seeking a part-time Grounds Keeper to maintain the cemetery, mausoleum and funeral home properties. You will operate lawn equipment, assist with interments, and help preserve a respectful, welcoming appearance for families.

Must have at least a high school diploma and one year of grounds experience; a valid driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1-year grounds experience.
• Cemetery grounds experience preferred.
• Valid state issued driver’s license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains cemetery, mausoleum, or funeral home grounds and appearance.
• Performs interments and entombments setup and related tasks.
• Identifies locations on cemetery maps for interments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Demonstrates teamwork, detail orientation, customer service, and time management.
