NorthStar Memorial Group is seeking a Cemetery Caretaker I for Restland Funeral Home in Dallas, TX. The role involves maintaining lawns, trimming around markers, laying sod, and handling flowers for chapels and gravesites, while ensuring safe drives and walkways.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 6+ months of experience in grounds keeping and/or maintenance.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Cuts grass and maintains lawn, trims around trees, walkways and memorial markers.
• Lays sod, moves and removes flowers to and from chapel and graveside.
• Blows leaves, edges with stick edger and clears debris for safe drives and walkways.
• Cleans ponds and fountains, hand digs/trenching as needed, and performs minor repairs.
• Assists in loading/unloading caskets; vehicle and golf cart washing/cleaning.
• Maintains overall appearance and cleanliness of funeral homes and mausoleum facilities.
