Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a hands-on Superintendent-level supervisor for grounds and maintenance across a cemetery-focused location in Michigan. You will lead the maintenance team, ensure safety, and manage landscaping, equipment, and memorial installations to keep the site welcoming for families.

The role requires 3+ years supervising grounds teams and 5+ years in mechanical/building upkeep, with preferred cemetery experience. Some holiday/evening work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have high school equivalency.
• 3+ years of grounds maintenance supervisory experience.
• 5+ years of mechanical/building maintenance experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety of all patrons, visitors and employees.
• Maintain and improve Everstory properties and fixtures.
• Supervise and coordinate maintenance team members.
• Provide training and support to the maintenance crew.
• Enforce company policies and coach staff as needed.
• Collaborate with location Sales and Administration on needs.
• Perform landscape maintenance tasks (weeding, mowing, etc.).
• Handle day-to-day general maintenance duties.
• Operate maintenance machinery safely (backhoe, mowers).
• Install cemetery vaults, headstones, and memorials as needed.
