Job summary

SCI Bettendorf is seeking a detail-oriented Facilities Assistant to maintain a clean, sanitized building and support daily operations at the cemetery location in Bettendorf, IA. You will perform housekeeping tasks, stock supplies, handle basic maintenance, and assist with light setup for meetings and chapel services.

No prior experience is required, but candidate must be physically agile and able to work with cleaning agents, equipment, and safety procedures in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: No previous experience required.
• Must be physically able to perform cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Maintains a welcoming and clean facility.
• Maintains a clean, sanitized and stocked facility.
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms and kitchen areas; cleans surfaces, floors, and furniture.
• Collects and disposes of trash and debris inside the facility.
• Replaces burned out light bulbs; maintains entryways.
• Maintains and replenishes dispensers and supplies.
• Notifies management of maintenance issues.
• May assist in setup for team meetings or chapel services.
