Job summary

Halliburton in Zanesville, Ohio is looking for the right people to join as an Entry-Level Operator Assistant - Cementing. You will assist during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment and begin to learn oil-well operations and cementing processes.

Under strict supervision, you will support pumping, data systems, and storage and delivery equipment, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and promote safety as part of a world-class team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0–6 months of experience as an Operator Asst-Cementing I.
• Class A CDL is required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing service equipment.
• Learn basic oil well operations including pipe capacities, volumes, pressures and cementing calculations.
• Assist in cement pumping and related equipment, data acquisition systems and control systems.
• Participate in pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and associated paperwork.
• Promote safety awareness and comply with health, safety and environmental procedures.
