Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–6 months experience as Operator Assistant I - Cementing or 1 year related oilfield experience.
• Class A CDL required; manual transmission experience.
• Clean driving record with no DWI/DUI in past 3 years.
• Completion of Operator Assistant I - Cementing competencies or equivalent.
• Able to lift 60 lbs and communicate effectively.
• Able to pass background, physical and drug screen.
• Able to follow routine instructions and perform basic math.
• Flexible schedule, long days, on-call with short notice; withstand extreme weather.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Assist during rigging-up and rigging-down of cementing equipment at work locations.
• Learn basic oil well operations including volumes, pressures, and cement blending calculations.
• Assist in cement pumping, blending, and data monitoring systems operation.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and related paperwork.
• Verify correct valve line-up on bulk systems and surface equipment.
• Understand hazardous materials and follow safety procedures.
• Promote safety and comply with HSE guidelines.
• Support quality improvement processes.
