Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained.
• Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection forms.
• Perform daily housekeeping on truck.
• Safely operate and maintain truck, load, secure and unload material.
• Recognize chain ratings and proper securements.
• Accurately complete load tickets where applicable.
• Communicate or plan routing with Dispatch or State system.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems related to material quality or equipment.
• Monitor production issues with coworkers and supervisors.
• Ensure OSHA, EPA, DNR safety and environmental regulations are followed.

Role Overview

As a seasonal team member, you'll enjoy winters off to travel, hunt, fish, or pursue the activities you love—while still keeping your benefits all year long. This position is responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer truck to deliver equipment to designated location.

Typical schedule is Monday - Friday 4:00 AM - 4:00 PM with minimal Saturday work.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES (summary of components that make up the job)

• Perform daily equipment, walk around and site inspections to identify and correct any unsafe conditions and keep equipment properly maintained
• Accurately complete daily vehicle inspection forms
• Perform daily housekeeping on truck
• Safely operate and maintain truckProperly load, secure & unload material

• Performs other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (minimum educational, experience, or other relevant job requirements)

• Over 3 months up to and including 6 months from post high school, work, military, institutional or vocational environment
• Ability to provide and maintain proper licensure, medical card and acceptable driving record
• A CDL Class A (tractor-trailer) license

Compensation

$28.00 - $30.00 per hour depending on experience
