Job summary

Ozinga is seeking a Facility Operator to safely and efficiently run a vertical grinding mill and cement terminal. The role covers equipment operation, maintenance, and logistics, while ensuring inventory accuracy and clean, safe work areas.

The position emphasizes hands-on technical tasks, quality control, and strong interaction with customers and stakeholders to support high-quality production and exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of cement/concrete products preferred.
• Experience operating cement grinding or similar facilities preferred.
• Experience in railroad/bulk powder terminal operations preferred.
• Industrial work environment experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate vertical grinding mill and cement terminal daily.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Coordinate logistics, stockpile, inventory management, and scale tickets.
• Operate mobile equipment and tools; troubleshoot machinery.
• Maintain records and perform material quality tests and sampling.
• Ensure proper labeling of products/samples and report discrepancies.
• Maintain safe jobsite conditions and participate in safety programs.
