Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. in Artesia, NM seeks a Cement Mechanic to maintain and repair cement operation equipment on a 14/7 schedule. You will respond to on-site repair calls, process work orders, and monitor engines and transmissions using DL8 and Alison software.

The role requires mechanical experience, HSE compliance, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Candidates should have basic computer skills, a valid CDL (preferred), and be prepared for a drug test and physical exam.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of regular or diesel mechanic experience.
• Familiarity with DL8 and Alison software.
• Class A CDL preferred and clean driving record.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and physical.
• Knowledge of Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Basic computer skills and team communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair cement operation equipment (tractors, cement pumps, bulk trucks).
• Respond to on-site repair calls.
• Process work orders daily.
• Monitor cement equipment to anticipate maintenance needs.
• Use DL8 and Alison software to monitor engines or transmissions.
• Comply with HSE policies; attend training and wear PPE.
• Perform other duties as assigned by manager.

Job Summary

The Cement Mechanic is experienced with regular or diesel mechanic work, maintains and repairs equipment used in cement operations, responds to calls to perform repairs on location, and uses DL8 and Alison software to monitor engines or transmissions for needed repairs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair equipment used in cement operations (i.e., tractors, cement pumps, bulk trucks, etc.)
• Respond to calls to perform repairs at job location
• Process work orders daily
• Monitors cement equipment to anticipate future maintenance needs
• Use DL8 and Alison software to monitor engines or transmissions for needed repairs
• Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Other duties as assigned by manager

Job Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience with regular or diesel mechanic work DL8 and Alison software knowledge is required
• Class A CDL, preferred
• Maintain a valid DL and clean driving record required
• Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations required
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical examination required
• Must be familiar with electronic logging devices
• Basic communication skills are required, able to interact with team and follow directions
• Basic computer skills are required
• Must provide own tools, service trucks will be provided for on-site work Freightliner maintenance experience is preferred
• Upholds a team player attitude with a hard work mentality
• Available to work a 14/7 shift, can safely perform required duties during a 12+ hour workday that will include days, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be physically able safely to lift 50 lbs. and 25 lbs. over head
• Must be physically able to stand or sit for extended periods, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout work shift.
