Compensation ranges from $24 to $45 per hour based on experience and skills. The role involves outdoor work on active job sites and requires adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in OSHA standards.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License with reliable transportation.
• Proven experience as a Cement Finisher or similar role.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
• Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques.
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery used in concrete finishing.
• Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and align forms for concrete according to blueprints.
• Mix, pour, and spread concrete in specified proportions.
• Smooth, level, and finish freshly poured concrete.
• Monitor curing of concrete and adjust for weather conditions.
• Apply sealing and hardening components.
• Create textured or decorative surfaces in fresh concrete.
• Cut expansion joints into concrete.
• Clean and maintain tools and equipment.
• Supervise and train junior workers.
• Maintain a clean job site.
