Job summary

BrightView Landscapes, LLC is seeking a Cement Mason Apprentice to assist the cement mason in executing small scale landscaping and cement operations.

The role involves assisting with mixing and installing concrete, digging trenches, setting up cement forms for sidewalks and planters, and transporting materials on site. Applicants should be able to work outdoors in all weather, follow directions, and maintain safety standards. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Union member in good standing.
• Landscape or hardscape construction experience is a plus
• Experience working outside in all weather conditions
• Conversational Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Assist cement masons with mixing and installing various mediums of concrete
• Dig trenches and set-up cement forms for sidewalk replacement, mow strips, and planters
• Remove materials from overhead racks on truck and transport materials from site to site
• Use tools to level, smooth, and shape surfaces of freshly poured concrete
• Ability to take direction and complete tasks
• Practice workplace safety
