Job summary

ProPetro Services, Inc. in Midland, TX is seeking a Cement Iron Parts Technician to support cement operations by maintaining and preparing iron for inspection, and keeping the parts room stocked with tools and equipment.

The role requires hands-on maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a willingness to work a 14-days-on, 7-days-off schedule, including nights and weekends. You will follow HSE policies and use PPE at all times.

Qualifications

  • Experience in maintenance preferred.
  • Must have valid driver's license and clean driving record.
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Willing to work 14 days on, 7 days off including nights, weekends, holidays.
  • Must be able to work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with breakdown and maintenance of cement treating iron and equipment.
  • Load and unload iron from equipment.
  • Maintain iron quality assurance.
  • Prepare iron for inspection and pressure testing.
  • Maintain parts room inventory of tools and equipment.
  • Adhere to HSE policies and wear PPE.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

This career site is for external applicants only.****Job Description:**Job Summary The Cement Iron Parts Technician assists with the breakdown and maintenance of all iron used in cement operations, prepares iron for inspection; maintains iron quality assurance; and ensures parts room inventory is fully stocked of all tools and support equipment. Responsibilities* Assist with the breakdown and maintenance of all cement treating iron and support equipment* Clean and maintain heads, manifolds, swedges, and quick connects* Load and unload iron from equipment* Maintain iron quality assurance* Paint iron for company designation* Maintain inventory for all iron, tools, and supporting equipment* Prepare and stage all cement treating iron for inspections and pressure testing* Ensure the parts room inventory is organized and fully stocked of all tools support and equipment* Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)* Other duties as assignedJob Qualifications* Experience in maintenance preferred* Maintaining a current, valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required* Must have reliable transportation, able to arrive at the yard on time for callouts* Strong work ethic, reliable, and willing to uphold commitment to perform all duties* Able to safely perform duties during 14 days on, 7 days off work schedule that will include days, nights, weekends, and holidays* Must physically be able to bend, stoop, kneel, twist, crawl, walk on uneven surfaces, and climb equipment ladders or stairs throughout work shift* Must be physically able to safely lift 50 lbs. and 25 lbs. above head (i.e., water hose, iron, swing hammer)* Must have knowledge of safe hand tool use* Must be able to perform duties in all weather conditions including extreme heat or coldPhysical Demands The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
