Job summary

Mayo Clinic in Phoenix/Scottsdale, Arizona, is seeking a Cellular Therapy Technologist to independently perform complex cell manipulation procedures on irreplaceable Human Cells, Tissues, and Cellular and Tissue-Based Products (HCT/P's).

The role requires a Bachelors of Science and 2–4 years in cellular therapy or related lab settings, with strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Certification is preferred; include CV, cover letter, and transcripts with your application.

Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science degree required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in a cellular therapy laboratory setting; or a minimum of four (4) years of experience in clinical hematology or blood bank setting preferred.
• Bone marrow and/or stem cell processing, blood banking, hematology, cell culture and apheresis preferred.
• Experience with operation and troubleshooting of laboratory instrumentation preferred.

• Certification from AMT or ASCP in Medical Technology, Med Lab Science or a related specialty, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complex, time-sensitive cell manipulation procedures on HCT/Ps.
• Perform aseptic handling of HCT/Ps during all processing phases.
• Maintain accurate and detailed documentation; ensure compliance with cGMP, cGTP, AABB and FACT.
• Adhere to specialized cleaning and gowning requirements; ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
