Job summary

Intrepid Acquisition Holdings, LLC is seeking a Cellular/RF Engineer to lead planning, scope, development, design, direction and management of major cellular projects at MuTC and Camp Atterbury, IN. The role centers on RF spectrum engineering, coordination with state and federal entities, and ensuring effective spectrum use to support mult-domain operations.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Electronics Engineering (or related) and 5+ years in cellular systems, RF, and spectrum

Qualifications

• Experience in Cellular System Operations and RF Spectrum management.
• FCC licensing experience or related regulatory licensing exposure.

Job description

Position is contingent upon contract Award

As the Cellular/RF Engineer , you will manage the efficient and effective coordination and accomplishment of the planning, scope, development, design, direction and management of major projects related to technologies in the Cellular System at the Muscatatuck Training Center (MuTC)

CORE RESPONISIBILITIES:

• Overall RF Spectrum Engineering and management at MuTC and Camp Atterbury, IN with respect to the MuTC Multidomain operations.
• Coordinate spectrum request through state and federal entities
• Conduct and monitor spectrum baselines, monitor during Testing, Training, and Experimentation (TTE)
• Local deconfliction for TTE

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Spectrum Management Certifications, or related discipline and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered.

• Minimum five (5) years of experience in Cellular System Operations, Radio and Radio Frequencies (RF) and Spectrum Management.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• Experience with 2G/3G/4G/5G technologies operations. The Contractor shall possess experience with various cellular frequencies and coordinating with license owners.
• Possess experience with Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Experimental Special Temporary Authority Licensing Applications or other FCC licensing applications.
• Possess experience coordinating and deconflicting spectrum with the customer to facilitate training objectives.
• Possess knowledge of the operational and performance characteristics of telecommunication equipment and transmission media, and of the relationship of components parts of communications systems.
• Practical knowledge of commonly applied telecommunication approaches, methods, and techniques.
• Cyber training programs effectively. Working knowledge of OT/IT technologies, cellular systems, networking, and IT management.
