Minimum Qualifications

• This role requires critical expertise in multiple layers in cellular protocols, experience with UE and/or NW protocols development for various 3GPP technologies is important. The candidate must demonstrate proven understanding of relevant protocol procedures and network interactions. The duties of this position will include design, develop, and maintain cellular protocol device side host test and network simulation environment.
• 2+years of experience in one or more of following for cellular protocol stack relevant features on commercial UE or protocol test systems are essential: protocol feature development, test
• specification, test case implementation and analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong Software Engineering skills including design, programming (using C, C++), scripting (Python preferred, Perl) and debugging.
• Highly motivated and self-directed.
• Experience with cellular protocol stacks preferred 2G, 3G, LTE and 5G NR.
• Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams.
• Obsessively passionate and inquisitive, and seeks to solve everyday problems in innovative ways.
• Laser-focused on the smallest details that are meaningful to our customers.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $115,700 and $204,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
