Job summary

Apple Inc. is seeking a Cellular System Engineer to join the system engineering team working on modem systems features and requirements. You will be a key member collaborating with SoC, PHY, and L1 SW teams to ensure end-to-end system capabilities.

You will be responsible for pre- and post-silicon bring-up, validation, and development of HW/FW architectures, with hands-on lab testing and simulation to drive robust modem solutions for cutting-edge products.

Qualifications

• MS in EE or related field required.
• Knowledge of cellular standards: 5G NR, LTE, PHY uplink channels.
• Strong background in communication theory and signal processing.
• Experience with algorithm development in Matlab/C++/Python and link‑level simulation.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with SoC/PHY/L1 SW teams to meet end-to-end system requirements.
• Lead pre- and post-silicon verification, validation, and bring-up of silicon.
• Map system algorithms to HW/FW architecture and validate with simulations.
