Job summary

ShawnTech Communications, Inc. seeks a Signals Intelligence Analyst to support the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction, coordinating cellular interdiction activities and analyzing data collected from assessments.

This onsite Columbus, OH role requires travel up to 50–60% and collaboration with investigators, tactical teams, and corrections officials to generate actionable intelligence and maintain data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS or five years equivalent work experience as an analyst.
• Working knowledge of 2G-5G technologies (GSM/GPRS, EDGE, CDMA2000, UMTS, LTE, 5G SA/NSA).
• Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and highlight significant information for reporting.
• Demonstrated experience handling large data sets and relational databases.
• Proficiency with PC hardware, operating systems, and network protocols including TCP/IP.
• Strong written and verbal communication; proficient in MS Office.
• IALEIA certification processes may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform mission planning of covert cellular interdiction assessments at ODRC facilities.
• Participate in site surveys and assist in emplacement and recovery of surveillance systems.
• Learn and maintain knowledge of cellular interdiction equipment.
• Manage and process data collected during assessments; identify patterns.
• Highlight key items of interest and provide actionable intelligence to corrections officials.
• Develop and present intelligence products to operational and senior leaders in ODRC.
• Quality assurance of imported data; ensure data integrity and confidentiality.
• Track and organize assessment metrics and reports.
• Improve analytical methods to maximize operational effectiveness.
• Design and manage reporting including data sources, security, and metadata.
• Be an active member of investigator and fusion analyst teams; provide on-site support.
• Coordinate with counterparts to schedule assessments based on agency priorities.
• Analyze cellular networks around facilities to design/optimize systems against contraband devices.
• Provide support for spectrum licensing and FCC filings.
• Maintain analytical working aids and databases.
• Prepare technical and tactical intelligence reports.
• Other duties as required to meet corporate goals.
