Do you have a passion for invention and self-challenge? Do you thrive on pushing the limits of what’s considered feasible? As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing models for sophisticated digital baseband for state-of-art cellular ICs, covering LTE and NR, that deliver more performance in our products than ever before! You will work with multi-functional teams to understand specifications and requirements, develop models for various components of the cellular modem, validate the models in standalone test environments, deliver and support integration into larger simulation platforms, support the HW design verification team in using your models and add timing annotations for performance validation. You will have the opportunity to learn about different aspects of cellular protocols, IPs and architectures, best-in-class platforms for FW development, co-verification of models with HW design and FW, industry-standard low-power architectures, and powerful debug architectures.
In this role, you will develop models for different components of a cellular modem, encompassing data path and control paths. Additionally, you will create timing annotation models and collaborate with multi-functional teams to validate these models. Your involvement will extend to embedded firmware (FW) development and verification of FW, as well as assisting in the optimization of hardware (HW) and FW designs.
BS and 3+ years of relevant industry experience.
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $138,900 and $256,500, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
