Job summary

Ji-Eun Lee Music Academy in Fishers, IN is seeking a passionate Cello Teacher to inspire students with a strong foundation in performance and pedagogy. The instructor will provide personalized cello instruction and develop tailored lesson plans to suit each student’s goals.

You will prepare students for recitals and exams, foster a supportive learning environment, and maintain ongoing communication with families while staying current with repertoire and teaching methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Music or related field preferred.
• Proven experience teaching cello to diverse ages.
• Strong proficiency in cello performance and music theory.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Availability to teach during evenings and weekends (flexible).

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and group cello lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
• Develop customized lesson plans that cater to individual needs and goals.
• Teach proper cello techniques, music theory, and performance skills.
• Prepare students for recitals, competitions, and examinations as needed.
