Job summary

GALLO is seeking a Cellar Tech 2 to support safe, efficient cellar production. You will operate machine centers, perform Cellar Tech 1 duties, and document production in the inventory system while maintaining GMP-compliant work areas.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and teamwork, with opportunities to train others on basic procedures and participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Required to wear a respirator when necessary.
• Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
• Travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation.

A Taste of What You'll Do

Join GALLO as a Cellar Tech 2 and contribute to safe, efficient, and quality-focused cellar production. Working under moderate supervision, you’ll perform Cellar Tech 1 duties while operating cellar machine centers across designated training areas and helping identify and resolve equipment issues.

You’ll safely operate assigned equipment, complete production reporting and quality checks, and enter information into the inventory database. You’ll help maintain a clean, organized, sanitary, and Food Safety-compliant work area while following safety, quality, GMP, environmental, and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you’ll contribute to continuous improvement, demonstrate urgency around safety, quality, and productivity, and train others on moderately complex procedures, including basic machine functions and troubleshooting. You’ll also support operational documentation, communicate effectively across teams and departments, and help advance sustainability practices through conservation, energy efficiency, and recycling efforts.

What You'll Need

• High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years’ experience in beverage production, manufacturing, or operations.
• Required to wear a respirator when necessary.
• Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Required to work at heights and in small areas.
• Required to comply with company GMP policies.
• Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. How You'll Stand Out

• We offer a broad salary range to allow for long-term growth. Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by multiple factors, including, but not limited to, education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Although we estimate the successful candidate hired into this role will be placed between the entry point and middle of the range, the decision will be made on a case‑by‑case basis related to these factors. In addition to the salary, this position may be eligible for bonuses, incentive plans, or participate in tasting room tip pools, as applicable.
