Job summary

The Fountain Group is seeking a Cell Therapy Process Engineer for a contract in Santa Monica, CA. The role focuses on developing cell therapy processes, conducting automated platform experiments, and supporting GMP manufacturing activities.

You will perform statistical analyses (DOE) and design of experiments, train manufacturing personnel, and prepare technical documentation while presenting findings to stakeholders. On-site day shift expected.

Qualifications

• High-level degree of GMP/process development experience.
• Experience with cell therapy platforms and upstream cell culture.
• Hands-on lab work in ISO 5 environments; aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Conducts cell therapy process development experiments on automated platforms.
• Designs and executes laboratory studies and analyzes data.
• Performs hands-on cell culture activities and monitors process performance.
• Supports manufacturing equipment, software, and single-use technologies development.
• Evaluates new GMP technologies and materials for manufacturing.
• Performs JMP/Minitab statistical analysis and DOE.
• Supports technology transfer and GMP operations.
• Prepares SOPs, batch records, and reports; maintains documentation.
• Presents data-driven updates to stakeholders and senior leadership.
