Job summary

Kite Pharma in Frederick, MD, is seeking a Supervisor, Manufacturing to lead a team of cell therapy manufacturing specialists in a state-of-the-art facility operating under cGMP. You will oversee on-the-floor operations, train and coach direct staff, and ensure compliance with SOPs and performance reviews.

The role requires a Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's with 5+ years, strong leadership, and familiarity with CFRs and electronic quality systems.

Qualifications

• Must have Master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience OR Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years
• Experience leading manufacturing teams in cGMP environments
• Knowledge of CFRs and electronic quality systems
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and change control

Responsibilities

• Supervise on-the-floor operations of cell therapy manufacturing in a cGMP facility
• Build and train a skilled team with ongoing coaching and performance reviews
• Develop SOPs, MPRs, and SPRs for equipment and procedures
• Manage production schedule against operational plan
• Collaborate with vendor and senior management
• Participate in cross-functional teams and change control
