Sturm, Ruger & Company, Inc is seeking a Production Associate for front line production including CNC turning and milling and assembly. Candidates should be flexible, detail oriented, and able to adapt to changing assignments.

Starting wage is based on experience with shifts available and a potential for quarterly profit sharing. Beneficial to have HS diploma; background and drug screens are required. Opportunities to join a team producing American-made firearms.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old and able to pass background and drug screen.
• Basic to complex machine operation, including CNC turning and milling and assembly.
• Flexible, adaptable to change, willing to work overtime and Saturdays if required.

Responsibilities

• frontline production duties; operate CNC turning/milling and perform assembly.
• Maintain attention to detail, quality, and safety during shifts.
• Be flexible to overtime and occasional Saturday assignments.

Position Summary

A Production Associate is responsible for front line production needs. Basic to complex machine operation is required. This may include the operation of CNC turning and milling machines and assembly work and other duties as assigned. Visual alertness, hand dexterity and attention to detail are necessary. The ideal candidate must be flexible and adaptable to change in assignments, and be willing to work overtime and an occasional Saturday if required.

Preferred Attributes

• Previous machine operator or high volume, medium mix manufacturing environment experience.
• High School Diploma, preferred, but is not required.

Physical Demands

• Associates are frequently required to stand; walk; use hands and fingers, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
• The position can involve sitting, walking and lifting up to 40 pounds several times throughout the day.
• Job is performed standing all day.
• Job requires substantial movement/motion with regard to walking, bending, lifting, grasping and applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palms.

Requirements

• You must be a minimum of 18 years old, and able to pass both a background and drug screen.
